If you are looking for Kula Beaches, you are out of luck. Kula is located in Upcountry Maui, high up on the western facing slope of Haleakala. Therefore, there are no Kula Beaches. Kula is mostly geared toward agriculture. If you really want to have a beach day, you can head north and visit the ones on the North Shore.
There are plenty of beaches on the North Shore to choose from. Selecting which one to visit all depends on what you want to do. If you are looking for some swimming and being able to relax in the sand then you can head to Baldwin Beach. Baldwin Beach has a lot of amenities like a lifeguard tower, a shaded pavilion and shower facilities. If you’re more of an action sports person, Hookipa Beach is for you. This beach is a mecca for surfers, windsurfers and kite surfers. However, this beach is not for novices. The waves here can get pretty big and dangerous so exercise caution at all times.
