KAANAPALI SUP

Kaanapali has some of the best beaches and coastal views in the world. A great way to experience these is by joining a Kaanapali SUP. SUP or Stand Up Paddleboarding is a recent offshoot of surfing. It has gained widespread popularity since it easier to learn and do than traditional surfing. In traditional surfing, riders wait for waves that they ride to the shore. The bigger the wave, the faster they can go. This can be difficult since not everyone can do this. SUP or Stand Up Paddleboarding is easier to learn and do. The boards used for SUP is generally longer than surfboards. The rider stands up on the board and uses a paddle to propel themselves across the water. This can be done even on flat waters. SUP has been around for a long time but it’s current form originated here in Hawaii. It has gained immense popularity with locals and tourists alike.

There are many shops that offer Kaanapali SUP lessons. These lessons are held in a number of ways. You can do it in a group setting. This is when you have a lesson with other students who also signed up. There’s also semi-private lessons. These are lessons where the students are all part of the same personal group. Friends and family members can have their lessons in semi private settings. Private lessons are more intimate since it will be one student and one instructor. After the lessons, the instructors will bring you to SUP spots in Kaanapali and ride with you. You won’t have to worry about the paddle boards and paddle since they are already provided by the shop.

If you already know how to SUP and you don’t want to join a lesson, you can rent paddle boards and paddles from some shop in Kaanapali. They have different rates depending on how long you want to rent the gear. You can rent them daily, a few days or weekly.
