The most famous things to do in Kihei are mostly done in the water. This is because of Kihei’s location. The town of Kihei is located in sunny South Maui. Kihei is a coastal town and is the location of numerous beautiful beaches. Since the weather is warm most of the time, the waters in Kihei are calmer. This makes it a perfect place for snorkeling. There are also numerous excellent snorkeling spots in here. Ulua Beach and the Kamaole beaches have reefs that house colorful fishes and are not too far from the shore. Kihei is also close to Molokini. This crescent-shaped islet houses hundreds of tropical fishes inside of it. Since the crater is mostly rock, there are no sediments that impair the visibility here.

If you want to try other things to do in Kihei, you can join any of the other organized tours that are available here. There are luaus here that are great for families or for individuals. You can join kayaking tours, dinner cruises, and whale watching tours when in season. There are also two world-class golf courses in Kihei.
