Looking for Pukalani golf courses? You’re in luck because the town of Pukalani is home to the only golf course in upcountry Maui. The weather here is significantly dryer than what you will find in the neighboring regions of Makawao and Haiku. There are still many days where the weather will be a factor in your game of golf. The wind is generally much more consistent factor than the rain. The winds here typically come up almost every afternoon. The rains are not so frequent. As a rule of thumb, the winter months are much wetter than the summer months, but there are definitely exceptions to the rule.

In terms of what you should wear for golfing here. Generally, you will want to opt for shorts and a polo shirt (collared shirts are required). However, be prepared for the weather to change as you’re playing. I normally will pack a light rain shell jacket in my golf bag when playing here, just in case.
