Description of Ukumehame Beach Park:  The Ukumehame Beach Park was named after the huge valley directly behind it which carves a huge V in the West Maui Mountains. This place is a favorite for surfers and kayakers. Beginner surfers use this place to learn the craft. The wave activity here is very dynamic. This place is sometimes called thousand peaks because of this.
