Looking for things to do in Haiku? is a relatively quiet region of Maui that is set aside from the main thoroughfares of the island’s tourism. There are no resorts here and it is mostly a rural residential area. However, there are some things to do in Haiku that you might enjoy. There are a few organized activities that you can take part in. Ziplines, bike tours, and horseback rides are the most popular. In addition to this, there are yoga and jiujitsu classes for those that are looking to get a workout. If you prefer to get your workouts outside there are some nice areas to take a walk or run along the ocean or through the jungles. If surfing is something that you are into, there is one of the most popular big wave surfing locations in the world called “Jaws” that breaks during the winter season. If you are lucky enough to be in the area when the waves are large enough to make it come alive you should definitely put it on your to-do list. Seeing surfers paddle into the largest rideable waves on the planet is a site that you won’t soon forget.
