This beach is located in the Honolua-Mokule’ia Marine Conservation District. It used to be called Slaughter House Beach because of one such place was located here before. This place is perfect for boogie boarding, surfing and snorkeling are activities you can enjoy here. The points on either end are perfect if you want o checkout some marine life. Just remember that there’s not much amenities here.
The Honolua Bay is part of a marine preserve located on the north-western tip of the island of Maui. This beach is good for different things depending on the season. During the winter months, this beach turns into the perfect surfing location. With huge waves rolling in, only the best surfers should try it here. It isn’t common for a surfer to get knocked out when they hit the rocks and drown. During the summer months, this is a perfect place for snorkeling and scuba diving although you might need to swim out more.
Fleming Beach or D.T. Fleming Beach Park is what people think of when they think of Maui beaches. This place has a lot of facilities like, BBQ grills, picnic areas, showers, restrooms and a life guard tower with a jetski. This beach is large enough to accommodate you and a lot of other people. The sand here is a white fluffy sand that isn’t too hard on the feet.
